咏梅(一)  萧蕙

百花凋尽严冬到,雪中一枝正含苞.风雨几度寒山远，暗香袭人涌春潮。                            

Sing of Plum Blossom (1)

While all the flowers withering in winter, 

You are in bud amid the snow; 

From the cold hills afar with wind and rain,

Sending forth delicate fragrance like spring tide ashore.

咏梅（二）萧蕙 

遒劲屈曲似蛟龙,冷艳几朵风雪中.与君相知又相伴，古韵清茗笔中情。

Sing of Plum Blossom (2)

The forceful flexure resembles the flood dragon, 

A few elegant flowers in wind and snow; 

Attached greatly to each other you and me,

Deep sentiment lies in the drawing all can see.

严寒消尽春来早,冰雪消融柳抽条. 谁人识得东风面,铁骨琼花一天骄. 

Sing of Plum Blossom(4)

Spring comes early while the severe cold gone,

The willow is sprouting when the snow and ice melt

Who’s ever seen the face of east wind,

Except for the God’s favored plum blossom in bud.

金菊独芳华    萧蕙

和风细雨又重阳，清瘦一枝傲冷霜；

无意争妍偏独秀，东篱秋色胜春光。

    Chrysanthemum   Xiao Hui   

Bloom with Moderate breeze and drizzle

Slender but proud in the cold frost, 

Unique and elegant unconsciously,

不似梅骨傲冰霜,更无春兰一缕香。纵然蜇居瓦盆里,依旧日日显炽昌。        

The Beauty in the Autumn

Not so brave as the plum blossom in the snow of winter,

Neither as sweet as the orchid in the spring wind;

Yet so lovely, brightly and prosperous,

Even in the pot merely made of earth.

紫气紫韵紫烟里,风情万种紫罗衣.庭前屋后犹可见,肯与时节捐芳驱.

Fall Rhyme

In the auspicious purple mist and purple rhyme,

Dressed in purple so elegant all the time;

Can be seen even around the courtyard, 

Willing to contribute when the season arrived.

晓风细雨笼烟絮,一帘幽梦春几许.犹见杨柳吐芳丝,燕子斜阳来又去.

Spring Dream 

Awake to find breeze and drizzle in the morning,

Spring is drawing nearer when I was dreaming;

Willows are busy reeling off fragrant silk,

While swallows flying around in the dusk.

垂杨烟楼杏花雨,姹紫嫣红芳草绿.春在溪头荠菜花,灿烂春光弄花语.

Bright Spring Scenery 

Weeping willows in the mist and apricot blossom in the rain, 

On the brilliant colorful field fragrant grass is green;

Spring comes with the brook and mustard flowers, 

Playing and joking with the nature wonders.

春烟如织花如潮,醉香遍野子满坳.待到硕果满枝架,金秋唱晚度良宵. 

Spring and Autumn

Spring sowing and growing like tidewater full of vigor,

Hills and valleys are intoxicated with fragrance of flower, 

When golden autumn comes bringing rich fruit, 

Singing and dancing till late into the night.   

乾坤万里春   萧蕙   

铁骨傲雪透国魂,幽香绝尘留花痕.江头千树斜更好,一夜乾坤万里春.

Spring 

Brave and faithful in the snow like a soldier,

Unique is the delicate fragrance of the flower;

Better along the river in numerous together,

Spring returns in triumph when night is over.

细雨净秋染新绿,清辉扶影娇无力.斜阳弄翠水连天,日暮含烟潇潇雨.

Rain Lotus

The drizzle has dyed the fall fresh green, 

The setting sun is brightly shining again;

The shadow of the lotus is pretty and tender,

With yearning tears down into the clean water.

九九重阳菊花黄,百花消尽我着装。.已是秋风扫落叶,我自逍遥对冰霜。

Sing of Chrysanthemum 

Attired splendidly in the soughing autumn wind

While all other flowers withered; 

I enjoy myself with the fallen leaves,

In spite of the frost and the cold. 

出污泥而不染(咏荷)  萧蕙 

亭亭玉立湖中荷,生就清高宜本色。出于污泥而不染,倒教文人费笔墨。

Sing of Lotus

Born with distinctive aloof character,

Stand slim and graceful in the lake,

Emerge unstained from the filth,

Oh, how can people help admiring you with respect.

辽阔霜天又一秋,霜叶又红青山头。雷锋夕照无限好,红叶谷中景色秀。

Autumn Charm

It’s fall again with vast frost days, 

Green mountains are covered with autumn leaves;

Infinite evening glow shines brightly,

Over the beautiful scenery in the Red Leaves Valley.

相依相伴度春秋,历尽沧桑情悠悠。人生若梦谁能觉,随君天涯共白头。

Hand in Hand

Together hand in hand year in year out,

The faithful love remains through the vicissitude of life

Who says it’s just a dream?

I’d like to be with you whenever and wherever.

一窗斜阳透茜纱,半缕老藤着倭瓜.东风又添清凉意,忘却酷暑闲看花。

Cool Autumn

Bright through the window is the setting sun,

A melon is hanging from the old cane;

Cool and comfortable is the east wind, 

Flowers idle after the intense summer heat.

金风送爽好个秋,枫叶又红青山头。遥看琼果枝头挂, 牧童扬鞭岭上游。

Comfortable Autumn Wind

How comfortable in the autumn wind,

The mountain is covered with red maple leaves;

Sweet ripe fruits are full of branches afar, 

Whip in hand the shepherd boy is proud.  

旖旎秋光   萧蕙

秋光旖旎风潇潇，千头野菊着锦袍。花团锦簇相依偎，化作彩球更妖娆。

Autumn Brightness 

In the charming autumn light and wind,

Thousand chrysanthemums dressed in brocade;

So beautiful and enchanting,

When they are closely gathering.

易安人比黄花瘦，一句千古别离愁。黄花本是刚烈女，冰霜雪雨独自秀。

The Golden Chrysanthemum 

You are lean like the sad lady,

Whose sorrow is eternal for parting,

Just like the woman of integrity, 

You are so elegant and lofty.

春潮涌动   萧蕙

映日黄花金欲滴，春潮涌动晚来急。簇簇丛丛竞相鲜，如在南柯梦境里。

Yellow flowers

Fresh and bright,

Reflected in the sunlight

Like the golden spring tide, 

Surging in the sea of dreamland.

蓝色青山蓝色梦，蓝色曲调蓝色风。吟诗入梦情几许，感慨无限心底生。

Blue Sonata 

Blue hills, blue wind,

Blue melody, blue mind,

Blue love in the blue poem,

All feelings well up in my dream.

花间醉语    萧蕙

满山霜叶红枝头，黄花更上一层楼。青山绿水今犹在，花间醉语唱晚秋。

Drunken With Flowers

Red autumn leaves all over the mountain, 

Show yellow chrysanthemums brightly within,

The beautiful scenery is so charming,

I can’t help singing as if drunken.
